Inaugural Theme — Palestine and Israel: Edge of Humanity
WHAT WE NEED!
- Documents the unfolding genocide (testimonies, dispatches, documentary art)
- Names collaborators and resisters (investigative pieces, profiles)
- Imagines liberation (poetry, speculative fiction, visual art)
- Shatters propaganda (satire, deconstruction of media lies)
Formats:
- Poetry (5 poems max)
- Prose (3,000 words max)
- Visual art (5 images)
- Audio/video (3 pieces)
- Hybrid/experimental work
- All written submissions should be in 12pt Times New Roman, submitted as standard Word files (.doc, .docx, or PDF)
HOW TO SUBMIT

- Subject Line: Palestine and Israel
- What to Send: We are currently seeking unpublished essays, fiction, poetry, and artwork responding to this crisis. Please keep prose submissions under 3,000 words and poetry to a maximum of five poems.
- Include:
- A brief bio. This is required if using a pseudonym. Your bio will only be published with your explicit permission.
We give priority to unpublished work but will consider published pieces if you hold the rights. All rights revert to the contributor upon publication. Simultaneous submissions are welcome—please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. If your work is republished, we request a credit to Militant Humanist as its first publisher.
PAYMENT
At this stage, we are building a sustainable economic model for radical publishing. Currently, we cannot offer cash payment. Instead, contributors will receive:
- A digital and print copy of our first release.
- Contributors will receive 1-3 books from Militant Humanist Revolution Used Books.
